My career began with a focus on research in mood and anxiety disorders, pivoted to a fellowship in forensic psychiatry, and then transitioned again to multiple roles at Silver Hill Hospital, where I still am on staff. I have treated patients across the spectrum, including adolescents and adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, and addiction. I have had 17+ years of experience working in a variety of settings including emergency, inpatient, residential and outpatient programs. My hope is to work with patients open to a collaborative relationship among myself, their families and other providers.

My goal is to treat my patients not as a diagnosis or cluster of diagnoses but instead as people who struggled with treatable conditions affecting their lives. I focus on mood (depression, bipolar), anxiety (panic, generalized anxiety, phobias), OCD, attentional disorders, and substance use disorders. I provide both medication management and therapy,
